IP-65, IP-67, IP69K? 알아야 할 4가지

When searching through product specification sheets, you'll often come across an IP rating. What do those numbers mean? And what does an IP rating indicate?

1. IP 등급은 국제 표준에 의해 정의됩니다.

IP (or Ingress Protection) ratings are defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard 60529 and are used to classify the sealing effectiveness of a particular electrical enclosure against intrusion from foreign bodies and moisture. Such foreign bodies might include hands, fingers, tools, wires, and dust. This international standard aims to provide more information rather than vague marketing terms such as "waterproof". Ingress Protection testing per IEC 60529 for lighting products can be completed by a nationally recognized laboratory and NVLAP accredited laboratories.

2. The Numbers In An IP Rating Indicate Two Meanings

The characteristic numerals in an IP rating indicated conformity with conditions summarized in the table below. The first digit designates the level of protection that a particular enclosure has against hazardous parts and the ingress of solid foreign objects. The second digit designates the protection of equipment inside the enclosure against the ingress of water. For example, an LED luminaire that's rated IP 65 is completely protected against the intrusion of dust but will become unsafe if it's immersed in water completely.

4	>1mm	대부분의 전선, 나사 등
5	먼지 보호	먼지의 침입이 완전히 방지되지는 않지만 장비의 만족스러운 작동을 방해할 만큼 충분한 양이 들어가지 않아야 합니다. 접촉에 대한 완전한 보호.
6	더스트 타이트	먼지 유입 없음; 접촉에 대한 완전한 보호.

두 번째 숫자: 액체

수준	물체 크기 보호	효과적인 반대
0	비보호	액체에 대한 보호 수준이 없습니다.
1	떨어지는 물	떨어지는 물(수직으로 떨어지는 물방울)은 유해한 영향을 미치지 않아야 합니다.
2	15도까지 기울였을 때 물방울이 떨어지는 현상	Vertically dripping water shall have no harmful effect when the enclosure is titled at an angle up to 15 degree from its normal position.
3	살포 물	수직에서 최대 60도 각도로 떨어지는 물은 해로운 영향을 미치지 않습니다.
4	튀는 물	어떤 방향에서든 인클로저에 튀는 물은 해로운 영향을 미치지 않아야 합니다.
5	워터 제트	노즐(6.3mm)에 의해 어떤 방향에서든 인클로저에 대해 투사되는 물은 유해한 영향을 미치지 않아야 합니다.
6	강력한 워터 제트	모든 방향에서 인클로저에 대해 강력한 제트(12.5mm)로 투사된 물은 유해한 영향을 미치지 않아야 합니다.
7	최대 1m 침수	규정된 압력 및 시간 조건(최대 1m 침수)에서 인클로저가 물에 잠긴 경우 유해한 양의 물이 침입해서는 안 됩니다.
8	침수 1m	장비는 제조업체가 지정한 조건에서 물에 지속적으로 담그는 데 적합합니다. 일반적으로 이것은 장비가 완전히 밀봉되어 있음을 의미합니다. 그러나 특정 유형의 장비에서는 물이 들어갈 수 있지만 해로운 영향을 주지 않는 방식으로만 들어갈 수 있습니다.

3. IP 등급에 세 번째 숫자가 있을 수 있습니다.

문자 K는 IEC 60529가 아닌 DIN 40050-9에 지정되어 있습니다.

IP ratings with the letter "K" (IP69K typically) are most prominent with food processing industries or industries where a high level of hygiene and cleanliness is paramount. IP69K provides protection against dust, high temperature, chemicals, and high pressure water. Enclosures with this rating withstand a rigorous high pressure wash-down procedure. This particular water intrusion test involves placing the product on a turntable with a rotational speed of 5 ±1 revolutions per minute. The product is then sprayed at close range at a rate of approximately 4 gallons per minute with water pressure of between 1160-1450 psi, at a temperature of 176 degree F (80 degree ). The nozzle from which the water is sprayed is held between 4 and 6 inches from the product enclosure at a variety of angles.
